The Nobel Prize Theme File is UNC Museum's largest single collection — 1,689 notes tracking the birth and death dates of virtually every laureate in the prize's history, from Wilhelm Röntgen, the first Physics laureate in 1901, to the most recent honourees.
This is less a theme than an archive — a numismatic index of over a century of scientific, literary, and diplomatic achievement.
