250 Rupees - 250th Session of Rajya Sabha

Obverse: This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “सत्यमेव जयते” inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “ भारत ” in Devnagri script and on the right periphery with the word “INDIA” in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol “₹” and denominational value “250” in international numerals below the Lion Capitol. Scripts: Devanagari, Latin Lettering: भारत INDIA सत्यमेव जयते ₹250

Reverse: This face of the coin shall bear the image of Parliament House with the National flag on top and seating arrangement of the Rajya Sabha Chamber along with the portrait of "Mahatma Gandhi" in the center. The inscription “ राज्य सभा का 250 वां सत्र ” in Hindi is depicted on the upper periphery of the coin and “250TH SESSION OF RAJYA SABHA” in English is depicted on the lower periphery of the coin respectively.
