Obverse: This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “सत्यमेव जयते” inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “भारत” in Devnagri script and on the right periphery with the word “INDIA” in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol and Denominational value “550” in the International Numerals below the Lion Capitol. Scripts: Devanagari, Latin Lettering: भारत INDIA ₹550 सत्यमेव जयते

Reverse: This face of the coin shall bear the Picture of “Gurudwara Shri Ber Sahib, Sultanpur Lodhi, Punjab.” The inscription श्री गुरु नानक देव जी का 550 वां प्रकाश पर्व” in Devanagri script and “550TH PRAKASH PURAB OF SHRI GURU NANAK DEV JI” in English shall be written on the top periphery and lower periphery of the coin respectively. The year “1469” and “2019” in International Numeral shall be flanked at the left and right periphery of the coin.
